1. Passengers must enter Bulgaria via Burgas (BOJ), Plovdiv (PDV), Sofia (SOF) or Varna (VAR).
-This does not apply to:
- passengers arriving from Romania;
- merchant seamen.
2. Passengers arriving from Argentina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil,

Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., El Salvador, Fiji, Georgia, Guatemala, India,

Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Oman, Panama, Paraguay,

Peru, Seychelles, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom,

Uruguay or Zambia, are not allowed to enter.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals and residents of Bulgaria, and their family members;
passengers younger than 12 years;
merchant seamen.
3. Passengers arriving from Andorra, Cyprus, Malta, Monaco or Spain are not allowed to enter.

- nationals and residents of Bulgaria, and their family members;
- nationals and family members of nationals of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland;
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- merchant seamen.
4. Passengers arriving from Andorra, Argentina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus, Dominican Rep., El Salvador, Fiji, Georgia, Guatemala, India, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Monaco, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Seychelles, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, Uruguay or Zambia, must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival, written in Latin characters.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals and residents of Bulgaria, and their family members;
- passengers younger than 12 years;
-passengers between 12 and 18 without a negative COVID-19 PCR test, are subject to quarantine;
- merchant seamen.
5. Passengers arriving from a country other than Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Dominican Rep., El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Monaco, Norway, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican City (Holy See) or Zambia, must have:
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac and and Sputnik V; or
- a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival; or
- a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken at most 48 hours before arrival; or
- a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival.
-This does not apply to:
- nationals and residents of Bulgaria, and their family members;
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- merchant seamen.
6. Passengers could be subject to quarantine for 10 days.

- passengers younger than 12 years;
-passengers between 12 and 18 years, arriving from Andorra, Argentina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus, Dominican Rep., El Salvador, Fiji, Georgia, Guatemala, India, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Monaco, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Seychelles, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, Uruguay or Zambia, with a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival;
-passengers 18 years or older, arriving from Andorra, Argentina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus, Dominican Rep., El Salvador, Fiji, Georgia, Guatemala, India, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Monaco, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Seychelles, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, Uruguay or Zambia, with two of the following documents:
- a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival;
- a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival;
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac and and Sputnik V.
- passengers arriving from Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Vatican City (Holy See), with:
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac and and Sputnik V; or
