5. Invitation Letter from Austrian host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name and designation and address to The Visa Officer, Austria Embassy, New Delhi.

 

6. Sponsor Electronic ID Number: Electronic Statement of Guaranty by sponsor (Elektronische Verpflichtungserklärung, EVE) obtained at the Foreigners Registration Office "Fremdenpolizei" in Austria.

 

7. Airline Reservation: Round trip air ticket.

 

8. Proof of Accommodation : Hotel confirmation / Guarantee of host company

 

9. Overseas Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros to be submitted in original along with the photocopy. Insurance to be done by the Authorized Insurance Companies Download Form

 

10. Financials

 

a) Company’s and Personal I.T.R for last 3 yrs

 

b) Salary slips for last 3 months with company seal.

 

c) Company and Personal Bank Statement for last 03 months mentioning the Bank’s name, Bank’s Telephone Number , seal and signature on all the pages.

Applicants applying visa from  Austria, Sweden and Hungary Embassy will have to come personally for bio-metrics in case if their previous Bio-metrics is done from the Spain embassy/ Consulate.

3.  Two recent photographs: with matt or semi matt finish, Photo should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70%-80% of the photograph, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 40mm)

 

4.  Covering-letter :from applicant stating his name, passport number, purpose with itinerary and duration of visit and addressing to the consulate To, The Visa Officer, Austrian Embassy, New Delhi.

 

 

 

5. Valid permit to return: (if applicable) e g. valid Indian Residency Permit or return visa to India for citizens of Bangladesh / Bhutan / India / Maldives / Nepal / Sri Lanka. For Tibetans travelling on Indian IC (yellow Identity Certificate) it is mandatory to hold a Return Visa (valid until at least three months after your intended return to India) apart from the stamped entry “No objection to return to India” (NORI) in the IC.

 

 

 

6. Travel medical insurance: shall be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire period of the person’s intended stay or transit. The minimum coverage shall be EUR 30 000. Student: NOC from school / college

 

10. ITR: Income Tax Acknowledgement / ITR-V for the last three (3) years

 

11. Proof of funds: Original bank statements for the last three (3) months with seal and sign from the bank and other financial resources

 

12. Round-trip flight reservations: airline reservation and proof of other means of travel within Austria/EU in case of onward travel.

Applicants applying visa from  Austria, Sweden and Hungary Embassy will have to come personally for bio-metrics in case if their previous Bio-metrics is done from the Spain embassy/ Consulate.

 

 

New Procedure for Schengen Visa Applications:

Indian citizens travelling to Schengen countries for short-term (max 90 days in 180 days) will have to visit VFS visa application centre personally to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph). For subsequent applications within next 5 years the biometric data will be copied from the previous visa application included in the VIS.

This category applies to persons who wish to travel to Austria for work more than 90 days up to 6 months. Confirmation of the Labour Market Service (AMS) is required. Applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.

2 Passport: (a) its validity shall extend at least three months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States or, in the case of several visits, after the last intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States; (b) it shall contain at least two blank pages; (c) it shall have been issued within the previous 10 years; (d) no alteration or handwritten amendment concerning the data page , (e) Original(s) of previous passport(s) or proof of loss.

4 Valid permit to return (if applicable) e g. valid Indian Residency Permit or return visa to India for citizens of Bangladesh / Bhutan / India / Maldives / Nepal / Sri Lanka. For Tibetans travelling on Indian IC (yellow Identity Certificate) it is mandatory to hold a Return Visa (valid until at least three months after your intended return to India) apart from the stamped entry “No objection to return to India” (NORI) in the IC.

 

 5 Travel medical insurance shall be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire period of the person’s intended stay or transit.
